Lorena De La Vega (Mexico) – Graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. She was responsible for the coordination of psychology grades and academic monitoring to ensure professional competence at the University Center Of Health Sciences. She also worked with students on a number of other related issues such as self-esteem and physical and mental well being. In addition, she has volunteered in Brazil to help facilitate the social inclusion of disabled people, promoting activities aimed at improving their sense of belonging, developing social skills, self-esteem and quality of life. Currently she is volunteering as a psychologist for teenagers in Barcelona. She is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English and has visited Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and Uruguay. She has lived in Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico and Spain.


Estefania (Czech Republic) – Is a neuroscience research assistant, and has studied Psychology in Spain and at Dank je wel Radboud University in the Netherlands. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, and has traveled in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City State. She has lived in Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.


Heidi (Germany) – Is a social worker in Darmstadt, Germany. She has worked with migrants, refugees, drug abusers and with prisoners. She is active in the grassroots Transition Town Movement which addresses global economic and environmental shifts at the community level. She is fluent in English, German and French, and has traveled in Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, France, Greece, Guyana, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela. 


Julia (Poland) – Is studying psychology in Spain. She is fluent in English and Polish (and is learning French, Spanish and Swedish.) She has traveled in Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Sweden, and United Kingdom.


Julia (Austria) Is a registered psychiatric nurse in Vienna. She is currently doing a further apprenticeship (the Psychotherapeutic Propaedeutic) in order to further her studies in psychology there. Previously she had studied at a clown school and is intent on combining psychology with her fire juggling skills. She is fluent in English and German and has traveled in many nations across Europe and in Brazil. In addition she has sailed across the Atlantic Ocean- starting in the Canary Islands and ending up in Martinique in the Caribbean. She lives in Vienna.


Catherine (Ukraine) – Studied psychology and social work and got her Master’s Degree from the Kyiv National University of T. Shevchenko.  She has worked with prisoners and with children in schools, as well as personal psychological consultations.  In addition, she has volunteered for No Suicide.ru. She is fluent in English, Russian and Ukranian and has traveled in the Czeck Republic, Italy and Poland.  She resides in the Ukraine.


Harikrishnan (India)- Graduated from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit with a minor in psychology and a concentration in Freud’s psychoanalytical theories.   He has worked in mental hospitals and in the field for a Relief Settlement Centre at Kochin along with an NGO GVI (Palluruthy Relief Settlement.) His work has benefited destitutes and the physically and mentally challenged.  He is now creating motivational classes to talk with students about his experiences as a volunteer.  He is fluent in English and Malayalam and lives in India.


Loise (Kenya) – Studied psychology at Kenyatta University in Kenya.  She has worked with orphans in children’s homes and women in disadvantaged communities.  She has collaborated with colleagues on various research papers in the field and pursuing her MA in Psychological Counselling.  In addition, she has set up her own business that works with helping tourists, expats and Kenyans that have been away from home for a long while. She is fluent in English and is learning Chinese. She has traveled in Tansania and China and lives in Kenya.


Alexey (Russia) – Graduated with a degree in Psychology from the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. He worked with children and adults who exhibited antisocial behavior, and who had problems adjusting to societal norms.  He is fluent in English and Russian (and is learning German.)  He has traveled in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Germany, Turkey, and the Ukraine, and lives in Moscow.


 Maja (Great Britain) – Graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2009 from London Metropolitan University.  She has been volunteering and working with homeless and alienated people for over 4 years.  She is fluent in English and Polish (and is learning Czech, German, Russian and Slovak.) She has traveled in Spain and currently resides in Great Britain.
